I've always loved photography
I’ve had a love for photography since the age of 13, when I was given my very first camera. Ever since, I’ve been passionate about capturing life’s most precious moments – from birthdays and holidays to weddings and growing families.
As a mum of two and a former teacher, I have a natural connection with children and a genuine love for family life. Today, I specialise in maternity, newborn, and family photography, and I feel truly privileged to document such meaningful milestones.
My own home is filled with photographs of my nearest and dearest, and I know how much joy it brings to look back on those memories. That’s exactly what I want to create for every family who steps into my studio – timeless images you’ll treasure for years to come.
My studio
Based in the heart of the North East, I am proud to serve clients across Durham and Newcastle, offering a bespoke photography experience that combines professionalism with artistry.
My naturally lit, light-filled home studio in Burnopfield (NE16) has been thoughtfully designed to merge the very best in modern equipment with a refined, welcoming atmosphere. Unlike a typical city-based studio, it provides a calm and private space—just 20 minutes from Newcastle and 30 minutes from Durham—perfectly placed for clients from both areas.
I work predominantly with natural light, using it much like an artist uses a brush—to sculpt, soften, and highlight with elegance. The result is photography that feels timeless and refined, with an effortless sense of luxury. In this serene environment, sessions unfold with ease, creating images that are beautifully lit, authentic, and enduring.
Every detail is carefully considered, from the atmosphere we create together to the final artwork you take home, ensuring your experience feels as special and memorable as the photographs themselves.
